I started cooking after the passing of my grandmothers in the same year of 2015. I felt like I had no purpose after they died in that I had no one else to take care of. I asked God to show me what I needed to do with my hands. In my previous occupation I started working in the kitchen feeding my coworkers and the inmates of where I worked. I then fell in love with cooking and serving others. In 2018, I felt the tug on my heart and I heard God say it was time for me to leave the job I had for 11 years. I started cooking for family and friends in all types of settings which has brought me great joy. I get to create new dishes and watch people enjoy what they are eating.
